Per UPS’ website: “Effective March 26, 2020 and until further notice, we have suspended the UPS Service Guarantee (also referred to as the UPS Money Back Guarantee) for all shipments from an origin to any destination. For all U.S. origin shipments, the service Guarantee suspension became effective as of March 24, 2020.”
Legacy Diesel and Marine exclusively ships via UPS and USPS on all orders considered non-truck freight. We ship primarily to the 48 contiguous states, which excludes Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands and also excludes all other international destinations.
For shipping outside of the 48 contiguous United States, please contact us prior to purchase.
Shipping Times & Details: Most products ordered will ship within 1-2 business days. Some exceptions may include back ordered and/or direct ship items.
Legacy Diesel and Marine is not responsible for shipping delays due to weather, unforeseen incidents, transportation providers’ delays, or other Acts of God.
Merchandise is generally shipped within 24 hours of order receipt.
We do not, however, control the shipping companies. Once a shipment is in the hands of the delivery company, we cannot change shipping addresses, we cannot make a delivery happen on a certain day, and we can only approximate delivery times.
Ground Shipping: Delivery in 2-6 business days within the contiguous U.S. ( Includes 1 business day for processing and 1-5 business days for transit ). Available Monday – Friday
2 Day Shipping: By 4:30 p.m. in 3 business days to most areas. ( Includes 1 business day for processing and 2 business days for transit ). Available Monday – Friday

Return Merchandise Authorization
- Legacy Diesel and Marine requires a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA) for any item returned.
- RMA’s are only valid for 15 days.
- After 15 days, please request a new RGA approval number.
Parts Return Process
- You may return items within 15 days from the date of shipment (see below for details and exclusions):
- Fill out our Request for Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form
- Please allow 1 to 2 business days for our Distribution Department to review the form (please note that not all items are returnable, see details below)
- When your request has been approved, we will email you an RMA and shipping label to print
- Please pack your item carefully; the customer is responsible for any damage to the product when shipping it back to us
- Place the RMA inside your package with the item you are returning; We will not return items not accompanied by this form
- Place the shipping label outside of the package (make sure to include your return address and take note of your tracking number); the customer is responsible for shipping charges
- Your credit will be issued within 5-20 business days, depending on stocking status and if applicable, the manufacturer’s return policy (restocking fees may apply)
Product Return Requirements
In order to receive a credit for your return, items must:
- Be accompanied by the RMA issued to you after filling out a Request for RMA; We will not return items not accompanied by this form
- Be returned in their original packaging
- Have NEVER been used (kits must still be in unopened package)
- Be in original condition (no dirt nor grease on the parts)
- Not have been purchased at a discounted price where the purchase price was reduced due to damage or use
Items not Returnable
- Gaskets, gasket sets, seals, seal kits and/or manuals of any type
- Electrical components and/or accessories (opened or not)
- Bundles (items sold in bulk) that have been opened
- Any parts that have been used and are being submitted for warranty consideration and/or coverage
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that accepted for return more after 15 days
Restocking Fees
- A 25% restocking fee will be applied to any non-stock items (products not marked with the Guaranteed in Stock icon next to the part number)
Shipping Charges
- If an item is damaged upon arrival, or if we sent the wrong item, Legacy Diesel and Marine will pay for the return shipping, and we will send the correct item to you at no extra cost.
- For any other returns, the customer is responsible for all shipping charges, including any costs incurred in getting the product both to and from the customer, regardless of whether shipping was originally charged or not.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Returns
- Returns Require an RMA number, to receive an RMA number please email our Distribution Department at – or complete and submit the RMA request form on our website.
Refunds
- Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment.
All Core Refunds Will Be Refund Back to your original method of payment or in-store credit. No Exceptions!
Sale items
- Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
- We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.
- If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at requesting your RMA or fill out the website form
- When your request has been approved, we will email you an RMA and shipping label to print
- Please pack your item carefully; the customer is responsible for any damage to the product when shipping it back to us
- Place the RMA inside your package with the item you are returning; We will not return items not accompanied by this form

A vast majority of our in-stock products begin being processed the instant you click on the “Place Order” button and most products ship either the same day or the following business day.
During processing it may be possible to cancel your order, but once it moves to the shipping process, it cannot be cancelled.
In order to cancel your order before it is shipped, please do the following:

- Go to the My Account page and click on the Orders link.
- Once in the Order History page, select the order that you would like to cancel.
- If the order has not been shipped yet, click on the Cancel Order button.
- This will send a cancel request but does not guarantee the order will be cancelled.
If it is too late to cancel your order, you may return any unwanted items in accordance with Legacy Diesel and Marine return policy.
